Left me speechless

Hey folks it’s Joy back again for Zero Dark Thirty. This is a first for me after leaving this movie last night I was completely speechless. Zero Dark Thirty starts with a radio transmission of 9-11 flashes to a kidnapping of a lower man of a terrorist cell group. The scenes are very intense I jumped back with the interrogation and torture of an individual. The cast is filled with out of prime action film stars, which makes this intriguing. This film has had its fair share of controversy in political, religion, and national security issues. The film was very limited overseas as Canada and United States had a wide spread release of the film into theatres.
The storyline is very straight forward and detailed which makes this one that you want to focus on from beginning to end the ways of tortured used is close to that used in the hit television series 24. The thrill level of the movie resembles Hannibal Lectar movie series, which makes this very graphic and detailed.
The timeline of the major events of the film is historically accurate. The filmmaking is very documentary with an intensity of the story which brings you in. The lead character Maya is astounding following her emotions as she put her life to one thing the death or capture of Osama Bin Laden. The director gets you, so wrapped up in the lead character’s role makes you wonder if this movie is about the death of Osama Bin Laden or something more? I give this movie 4 big oinks and a high action packed squeal.

Yippie Ki Yay Die Hard is here

Well mommy gave me permission to see my first rated R movie of the 2013 season. I was a little afraid, but this classic film series I been told never disappoints. John McClane is heading to Moscow as his daughter reminds him to not make a bigger mess of things than what the situation already was.. The Die Hard movie fans is introduced to John McClane Jr. also known as Jack played by Jai Courtney who finds himself in a complete mess as he is found to be tried for murder in Moscow courts.
I had a Die Hard expert tell me that John McClane has been known to go the distance for his kids no matter what it takes, so I am sure this will be a high paced action film. The interesting thing I learned was that at the beginning of movies that featured his kids they don’t need his help lets hope he fairs as Lucy did in Live Free and Die Hard.
The car stunts in this movie almost made me wet myself with how scared I was. Its been about eight years since the last release of a Die Hard film the stunts in the first 20 minutes of the film is beyond outstanding, also speaking of outstanding try the new popcorn Iowa grown from the concession stand.
Before the release of A Good Day To Die Hard most would say Die Hard With A Vengence was the best Die Hard movie, but without a doubt we have a new number one.
I highly recommend this for Daddy and Son piggy because without a doubt something special when a father and son can take down Russian Mad Men. A reminder also if you young piggy want to see A Good Day To Die Hard you need parent permission just like I did. Parents have questions they can call the movie theatre at 792-FLIX. I give A Good Day To Die Hard 5 big oinks and an action filled squeal. I will be back with our second feature Zero Dark Thirty. I hope to hear of great crowds this week for two very unique films.

Love ya,
Joy

Our big surprise of the movie year

Howdy folks finally Warm Bodies cozied up with the brisk winter beating on the door of the movie theater. In this movie critics have called this the first big surprise of 2013. I am so excited as from the beginning I can tell I will be cuddling with my sisters and mommy to see this movie. I also wonder what is daddy going to think about this movie. The cast from this movie is filled with co-stars of some of the great romantic comedies and teen fling films. The soundtrack comes from your classic 80’s films.
This film even before the plot developed had me squealing with laughter as the character development was said, “What’s the goofiest thing we can do to these characters?”
John Malkovich is by far in his comfort zone in this movie which I am sure will take this movie to another level for horrific comedies. It’s obvious within the first 20 minutes you know you’re in for a movie unlike you have ever seen. This is a movie for everyone as it has a mix of every genre with a mix of many decades 70’s- today has influence in this movie.
If you have followed this movie from the opening trailer till now it is without a doubt more than what the movie critics and features told you this movie would be.
This movie I give 5 big oinks and a squeal for comedy and hot resurrected zombie in R. We will still hold our $10 deal from now till Valentines Day for during the week shows. Now on to Lincoln its going to be a can’t miss time at the movie theatre. Keep up with us in Facebook and the website.

Love yall,
Joy

4 scores and 7 years its here Lincoln

It’s finally here Lincoln. This film has been on top of the charts at the end of 2012, which was showed at the Golden Globes and sure to be the same as Oscars will be this month. The movie history of Abraham Lincoln is as far stretched as the Civil War with movies like the Conspirator where he is just a co-lead role to something fictional with Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter. Disney went top notch with Lincoln Daniel Day Lewis as Abraham Lincoln, and Steven Spielberg directing Lincoln on paper shows to be a beyond Oscar worthy film.
I think of all the political controversy through the years and how it has been explained what happened with skepticism, but with this its obvious they drove the controversy of the development of the vote of passing the 13th amendment of the constitution.
The political controversy and the casual building of the story you wonder could this story be the truest resemblance of what happened all so long ago. The cast of the film is filled with legends. In the end being a sign that many believed in this film. When watching the film you completely lose sight on the character you see being Daniel Day Lewis as he brings you deep into the mind of Lincoln.
One of my favorite additions to the film is Tommy Lee Jones he has done many films as a leading man and a co-star and has done beyond remarkable work in this film Jones sets the bar higher for his future films.
Remember folks come and see Lincoln to see what many movie critics have been buzzing about. Plus we have a great deal for the weekday $10 deal with admission small popcorn and small pop check out our Facebook page.
I give this movie 4 big oinks and a 7 scoring squeals for an amazing movie.

Love yall,
Joy
