Have a Merry Joyful Christmas

Hey folks it’s Joy hoping that you all are having a joyful holiday season, so far. The Christmas season bringing many first for our time at the theatre the first animated movie and my diet. The Rise of The Guardians has been out since the end of November, but truly will be a Christmas classic for future generations. The Guardians is filled with your classic childhood stories mixed into one elite fighting force that all the little piggies will love facing off against the boogy man. This has been a classic series that will be adding a new guardian, which I never would have thought of and as mommy says I am a smart piggy.
I was surprised to see this movie came out at Thanksgiving time when it’s truly a Christmas tale. Don’t worry adults because the Guardian has some adult humor in it as well as some great action scenes. The greatest thing about this movie it will leave you with the warm and fuzzy feeling, which after a big thunder snowstorm is wonderful. I have had little piggy tears come out with this one, but it truly makes this a must see for the holiday season.  This movie has a great message that we all have dreams and fears, but believing in yourself and having someone believe in you is sometimes the greatest gift of all. I give “The Rise of The Guardians, 5 big oinks with squealing good fun. We do have special Christmas-Christmas Eve showing check out the theater Facebook page or website that is www.Capitol2.com.
BIG NEWS!!!!! We finally have a deal with Disney to bring the classics and movies that will be on top of the box office in 2013 and be remembered as the great movies of 2012. Our first Disney feature will be Wreck it Ralph which wrecked the box office with great numbers during the Thanksgiving holiday season.
In other big news everyone come out to Capitol 2 theater during the Christmas season to find out about a special sneak peek of an event that is coming to Capitol 2 theatre at the end of the month. It will sure be an array of smashing hits with something that will certainly be a great kickoff for the start of a New Year at Capitol 2 theatre. I want to wish you and yours a Merry Christmas and a joyful New Year. If you thought this part of 2012 was something special you have not seen anything yet.

Love,
Joy

Sleepy piggy

Oh my sleepy piggy here today with the longest film to come since the reopening of the Capitol 2. The tale of The Hobbit that has been loved by my Mommy and Daddy when they were both were young. The tale of the Hobbit is a prequel of The Lord of The Rings Series. The story began, as Frodo was still young being told the story of how a city was being attacked by the dragons made of Gold, which ended the city in hopes of being saved, but no one came. The rebuilding of the city tells the story of how Frodo and Bilbo Baggins joined this historic adventure. The screen play and process goes exactly with the book as my daddy says that is very important for viewers to know, while my mommy reminded me it’s a long movie, so make sure you get plenty of food and rest. Bilbo Baggins shows to be a punctual and in no need of adventure by the end of a comedic skit with Bilbo being intruded on during dinnertime. The adventure begins as Bilbo Baggins runs through town to get to Gandalf and his crew through the journey a story has been told during the bonfire. The action picks up with a group of trolls, and air rodents. They turn to a band of hunters to being the hunted. I was confused when daddy was explaining the idea of this coming straight from the book as I was thinking this movie would be 869 pages long, which made no sense to me. Despite the role being changed the dwarfs had to seek refuge with the elves a sworn enemy of the dwarfs. They prepare and find out more about what they have fallen prey to. In route to seek the hunters out they meet in the field and find a chance to have vengeance as the offspring of the past war begin to wage war in the forest. The action scene is vastly intense with screenplay and the special effects of traditional attacks. The dwarf who has led the war effort see a near end, but to live out his past with a different result in the end leaving no victor of the war. Nearly left for dead the underling in the end leaving a classic fall out to a second film saves the hero. In the end I give this movie a highly education 5 oink performance. This series looks to be better than its follower “The Lord of The Rings”.
Great way to start the Christmas season with a classic story as a movie. Everyone at the Capitol 2 is in the holiday spirit. We do have gift cards and will be open through the Christmas season look at the website www.Capitol2.com. Come to us for all your Christmas Movie presents. Very Excited about new movie, events, and ideas can hardly contain myself

Hey girls without a doubt a chick flick to see with one of the most under rated sexiest men in Hollywood, Gerard Butler. He makes my little piggy heart beat faster than the popping of the popcorn in the lobby. Butler plays a retired soccer player who can’t get past the game, George Dryer. He comes to realize that he seems to come late and doesn’t seem to take enough time in what matters.
George Dryer starts to coach his son’s soccer team, which catches the attention of every parent on the field. The mommy’s flirt and swoon over his Scottish accent and physique. Don’t worry guys you have Jessica Biel, Uma Thurman, and Catherine Zeta-Jones to look at. Butler finds himself holding on to something that everyone he has loved and cared about let go of. His new discovered life is showing to be more than he could bargain for. Butler’s role of course is bad boy, but adding Dad to the dynamic makes him even more charming and sexy.
Its easy to see why the perfect name for this movie is “Playing For Keeps” as every character has something they’re playing for something not just as a career or fame, but for keeps. Gerard Butler produced the film which is evident with the passion behind the male role such as he was in The Ugly Truth and Phantom of the Opera.
The greatest part of this movie is the timing always something happening never a dull moment, which is great because I go crazy when nothing is going on in a movie. In the end you realize that sometimes being there and getting into the head of another it all works out in the end. I have been reading movie reviews with most major publications calling this movie a farce and a horrible project averaging 2 out of 5 stars. I want to squeal loud WERE NOT EXPECTING OSCAR WINNING PERFORMANCE. This movie is a great escape movie remembering that secret crush on an attractive and charming actor or actress for the guys, so forget about the mediocre reviews and enjoy “Playing For Keeps” you won’t regret it if you seen me you know I have a very trusting face.
We will be playing "Playing For Keeps" for the next several weeks, but looking forward to The Hobbit coming out on the 14th which we will be having a huge midnight event with details to come in the coming days. I have also been hearing some more news about something huge coming to Capitol 2 that not only has not been done at Capitol 2, but in most any theater in Iowa. I been told I have to be a good piggy and not tell anyone.

Love everyone,
Joy

New friends, new video, new film, and still excited

I want to thank my newest friend, Sydney Lett for coming to the movie theater and premiering her music video “Rain”. We got to have a little girl time to check out Twilight Breaking Dawn Part 2. Last week I gave the movie a 5-oink performance and we both give the two Twilight hotties, Jacob and Edward a squeal. We now have Bond James Bond to join the Twilight hunks in the movie Skyfall. I haven’t had much chance to give love to my daddy, which he is so excited to see and he is the designer of the Capitol 2 website (www.Capitol2.com). We are celebrating 50 years of James Bond with Skyfall. Its starts out with a classic Bond action sequence, which makes you want to go crazy as it seems that the movie has ended before it has barely begun. The movie returns to form as the mission reached a turning point. Come to find Bond in a tropical paradise, while working off a late night party. It’s shown he is needed back in England. Bond and the mam reunite to have a classic agree to disagree moments that lets you know the fun has just begun. The old man humor in this movie is hysterical. I seem to have been lost in the classic Bond content, so I had to ask daddy on a few things. The one thing that you notice off the bat the screen play technology in Skyfall is outstanding with the use of color, light, and darkness. I love the idea of the most dangerous characters of the movie are mostly women. The intrigue of this movie makes it feel long, but holds you in a slight grasp. The villain of the movie shows to have a true psychological strength over Bond. The heroics of James Bond are unlike those I have enjoyed as a young piggy, but I am still intrigued on this story as I am new to the Bond series. The story made me cry, but makes me excited to see the next Bond movie.

Love you all,
Joy
